More Pictures

Not much new this week. Jack is still doing great and getting bigger all the time. He was is a great mood this morning, so I grabbed the camera to take some pictures. These must be his favourite pajamas - he's usually happy when he's got them on which is why he's wearing them in a lot of his pictures. I also got a few good ones where he's showing his new teeth.

Swimming Lessons

Britain took Jack to his first swimming lesson today. It was a Mother's Day gift from Betsy and was held at a really nice athletic club in Beaverton. Both Jack and Britain had a great time. I think its a great idea to get him in swimming lessons before he's old enough to argue (and before he's in high school...). These will go on for a few weeks, so I'll try to keep posting pictures from each lesson. We also got a few movies - I'll put them at the bottom. As usual, there are lots more pictures of the lessons at our web site.

Videos

I had a few videos I've taken in the last few days, so I thought I would share them.

These two are Jack trying really hard to crawl. He's trying to get one of his favorite toys and getting frustrated in the process. This is as close as he's come to crawling yet.





This one show Jack getting good at eating more solid food. This is the first time he's gone through a few of the puffs without choking. He's trying to pick them up, but can't quite get them to his mouth consistently yet.

New Pictures

Just a few new things to report this week. Jack got to go to his first Birthday party today. Also, he's starting to try to move around more, but still having trouble learning to crawl. We think he may be one of those babies that goes straight to walking. I tried to get some pictures of his new teeth, but he's really protective and doesn't like to show them very much. About the only time we get to see them is when he's mad... I added a new video to the player over there on the right. Click play to watch it or click here.





I made these with my compact camera since I happened to have it in my hand from taking videos. He doesn't sit still long, so I have to take what I can get.

Jack's First Alabama Trip

I finally had a chance to organize all the pictures we took during our Alabama trip a few weeks ago. There were so many to go through, it took me longer than I expected. We had a great time and it was nice to let Jack spend some time with his family. I'll post just a few here, but there are tons on our pictures site.
